Links open at the top of the page

  • Following a link now opens the new page at the top, instead of where you were on the last page. Links to a section, such as Book a demo, go straight to it.
  • The KarbonZ logo is smaller and centred in the menu bar.
  • New photos for cooking fuel and for employer green actions.

Clearer paths for individuals and organisations

  • The home page now leads with what KarbonZ does: carbon footprint assessment for individuals and organisations.
  • New pages for individuals and for business, with sample dashboards (clearly marked as sample data) so you can see what you get before you sign up.
  • A new methodology page lists our GHG Protocol mapping, emission factor sources and versions, verification levels and limits.
  • Organisations can book a demo straight from the business page.
  • The score page is simpler: what your score means and how to improve it.

Open sign-up

  • You no longer need an invite to join. Anyone in India aged 18 or over can sign up with a mobile number.
  • Invites from your employer still link you to your company as soon as you sign up.

Invite employees and your team

  • Employees now has an Invite employees button: send personal email invites, or create one shareable link with a use limit and an expiry.
  • Everyone who signs up from your invite is linked to your organisation straight away, in the branch and department you chose. No ID-card check needed.
  • See every invite, who joined with it, and resend or revoke it.
  • Invite Member in Settings now works: invite ESG, branch and department heads, who set their own password from the email.

Join your company from an invite

  • If your employer sends you a KarbonZ invite, you are linked to your company as soon as you sign up.
  • Already on KarbonZ? Open the invite while signed in and tap Accept invite.
  • Large phone photos of ID cards now upload without errors: the app shrinks them first.

Guides for invites, and data kept in India

  • New help guides: inviting employees, and inviting branch and department heads.
  • Our subprocessor list now names our hosting and database providers. Your data is stored in Mumbai.

A new karbonz.com, a help center and this changelog

  • The website has a new look, and every page now loads its words before any scripts run, so it is faster on slow connections.
  • A help center at /help explains how to sign in, link bills, join your employer and manage your data.
  • New pages explain how the KarbonZ score works, define the carbon and BRSR terms we use, and compare KarbonZ with spreadsheets and consultants.
  • Our privacy notice, cookie list, terms and subprocessor list are now published, each with its effective date.

A calmer look, and your data in your hands

  • The app has new colours and a new typeface that are easier to read.
  • Profile now has a Privacy and data page: download a copy of your data, delete your account, withdraw marketing consent, nominate someone to act for you, or raise a grievance.
  • Signing up now asks you to confirm you are 18 or older, and marketing messages are a separate, optional choice.

New look for the corporate portal

  • The corporate portal uses the same new colours and typeface as the app.
  • Settings now has a way to request deletion of your organisation’s workspace.
