Sign in with your phone number

KarbonZ individuals sign in with a mobile number and a 6-digit code. There is no password. Anyone in India aged 18 or over can sign up.

Steps

1. Open karbonz.com/app/onboarding and tap Start Assessment.
2. Under Who are you joining as?, choose Individual.
3. Choose Sign Up if you are new, or Sign In if you already have an account.
4. Enter your 10-digit number under Mobile number and tap Send OTP.
5. Enter the code under One-time password. New accounts also enter a Full name and confirm they are 18 or older.
6. Tap Create Account (new) or Sign In (returning).

The code is valid for 10 minutes. If you ask for a new one, earlier codes stop working.

If it doesn't work

• "Enter a valid 10 digit mobile number": leave out the +91 and any spaces.
• "Incorrect OTP. 2 attempts left.": check the latest SMS. After five wrong tries you will see "Too many incorrect attempts. Please request a new OTP." Tap Resend OTP.
• "OTP has expired. Please request a new one.": tap Resend OTP and use the new code.
• "Please wait 30 seconds before requesting another OTP.": wait for the countdown next to Resend OTP.
• No SMS after a few minutes: check the number and that your phone accepts messages from businesses (DND settings can block them), then try again. Still stuck? Write to info@karbonz.com.
