Open Carbon in the bottom bar to see your Carbon Score. It runs from 300 to 900. Scores up to 899 come from your answers and bills; 900 is reached only through certification.
The parts of the screen
- Band: your score range, from Carbon Starter (300 to 399) up to Carbon Leader (800 to 899).
- Status badge:
- Participation baseline means you are at 300 because nothing has been scored yet. Add your home and commute, or a bill.
- Provisional means the score uses self-reported answers only. Upload a bill or log next month to establish it.
- No badge means your score is established.
- Score Pillars: Emissions level (up to 180), Monthly momentum (105), Annual trajectory (105), Verification (150) and Engagement (60).
- Score History, Emissions Breakdown and Improve Your Score are further down.
What moves your score
- Lower emissions than last month raise Monthly momentum.
- Bills raise Verification: from Self-reported to Document or System.
- Answering a new question never counts as an emissions change. Months are compared only on categories present in both.

If it doesn't work
- The score has not changed after you edited an answer: identical answers are ignored. Only changes are scored.
- You see No Assessment Yet: finish your baseline questions.
